Clint Petersen has the expertise that comes with a lifetime of experience.

Known throughout the Lower Mainland as the horse trailer guy, Clint is trusted by the horse community to provide quality service and repair to their horse trailers.

Clint grew up in the horse world.  His parents, Art and Eileen Petersen were the highly regarded Quarter Horse breeders behind Hyline Quarter Horses.  Following in his sister Leanne’s footsteps, he joined the Langley Pony Club and competed in the Prince Phillip Games at the National Level.  In his teens, he went on to showing Quarter Horses, and rode Hyline Brother to his AQHA Youth Championship.

Clint developed his interest in trailer fabrication and repair, working alongside his father in his horse trailer shop.  From childhood, he helped his dad build trailers.  Later, Clint developed a passion for motocross, and competed in B.C., Alberta, and Washington in the Expert and Pro Class.  He then applied his mechanical know how to the new challenge of 4X4 trucks, rebuilding his truck from the ground up, to podium at an American Monster Truck sanctioned event at BC Place in 1984.

Having developed a whole new skill set as an auto body painter working at Gold Key GM in Langley, Clint then started his own business, specializing in commercial truck collision repair.  In 1990, he returned to his roots, opening Petersen Trailers - specializing in horse trailer repair, service, and fabrication.

Clint knows horses and horse trailers.  Petersen Trailers delivers quality workmanship from fabrication to bodywork, because Clint Petersen has the experience and expertise to do the job right.
